A very restful and easy day.
Slept in due to having planned an easy 16km day to Orewa and also the road walk to Silverdale is not good with morning traffic. So I left at 9 and meandered my way into Silverdale then on to Orewa.
Staying at Pillows Backpackers which is very basic but fine for $35.
The day was mostly overcast and not too hot. Some interesting garden art today and the pink letterbox with the ducks on it was special.
